Friday, December 13 – 14:30 EST – Rhein-Neckar-Arena
Hoffenheim are set to welcome Augsburg to the Rhein-Neckar-Arena on Friday evening in what is expected to be a very entertaining matchup. Hoffenheim look to get back to their winning ways as they aim to put an end to their three-game winless run. Alfred Schreuder’s troops have been shaky at the back, conceding nine goals in their previous three league fixtures. Augsburg, on the other hand, showed character in their last league fixture. They came back from conceding a goal to eventually defeat Mainz 2-1. They will certainly be looking to build on their performance in their last match. Augsburg, however, are not regarded as good travellers. They have won just one of their last 7 matches on the road this season. In their last meeting , Hoffenheim recorded a 2-1 win over Augsburg.
OUR PICK: HOFFENHEIM TO WIN
Saturday, December 14 – 12:30 EST – Rhein-Neckar-Arena
Dusseldorf get ready to host RB Leipzig on Saturday in what is expected to be a one sided affair. As expected, Fortuna Dusseldorf suffered a 5-0 defeat to Borussia Dortmund at Signal-Iduna-Park in their last Bundesliga match. The hosts are on a four-game winless run in the league, and given the Red Bulls’ current form, this will not be an easy match for them. As it stands, they are in relegation territory. It will be an uphill task for them as they look to turn things around. RB Leipzig, on the other hand have been in exceptional form this whole season, and as a result, are in second place. Leipzig are unbeaten in their last nine matches in all competitions and will look to extend this streak. Timo Werner scored his 15th goal of the season last match against Hoffenheim to give his team a 3-1 victory. To make matters worse for Dusseldorf, Leipzig have the best away record in the league.
OUR PICK: RB LEIPZIG -1 ASIAN HANDICAP
Sunday, December 15 – 9:30 EST – Volkswagen Arena
Wolfsburg welcome first place Monchengladbach to Volkswagen Arena in what is expected to be one of the most entertaining matches of the weekend. Monchengladbach are currently first in the Bundesliga, but with RB Leipzig breathing down their necks, they’ll need to stay sharp if they are to clinch the title. One of the men to keep an eye on will be full back Ramy Bensebaini, who scored in their 2-1 victory over Bayern Munchen. Wolfsburg who currently are 9th in the Bundesliga, suffered a serious dip in form as of late. Following a 3-2 loss to Werder Bremen, the Wolves were beaten by Freiburg 1-0 last weekend. They suffered four losses in their previous five league fixtures. The last time these sides met, Wolfsburg recorded a 3-0 win over the current league leaders.
