On Saturday, it is Eibar who are set to welcome Atletico Madrid at the Ipurua Municipal Stadium. Lastly, it is Athletico Bilbao who are set to host Celta Vigo in their bout on Sunday. Friday, January 17 – 15:00 EST – Estadio Municipal de Butarque

Leganes are set to host Getafe at their Estadio Municipal de Butarque on Friday. They had a rather slow start to the season, but their current form is quite promising. They are unbeaten in their last six matches overall. Leganes did particularly well in their Copa del Rey match against Murcia who they defeated 4-0. Javier Aguirre’s troops aim to escape the relegation zone, and we predict that they are going to adopt an attack-minded approach against Getafe. On the other hand, Getafe recently suffered back-to-back losses to the likes of Villarreal (1-0) and Real Madrid (3-0). They also lost their Copa del Rey match against Badalona 2-0. Getafe currently sit in 7th place in La Liga with 30 points to their tally. They will surely be looking to get back on track with a win on Friday but it won’t be an easy task.

Eibar-Atletico Madrid

Saturday, January 18 – 15:00 EST – Ipurua Municipal Stadium

After suffering a heart-breaking loss to Real Madrid in the Spanish Super Cup final, Atletico Madrid will be looking to extend their winning run in La Liga to four games when they take on Eibar at Estadio Municipal de Ipurua. Diego Simeone’s troops currently sit in 3rd place with 35 points to their tally and aim to keep their hopes of winning the domestic title alive. Since Diego Costa remains in the recovery room, all eyes will be on Alvaro Morata, who has been in fine form as of late. Eibar, on the other hand, find themselves sitting in 16th place. They have managed to win just one of their last 5 La Liga matches. They will be looking to secure some points in this one as they look to make their way out from the danger zone. Doing this against an Atletico side of this caliber will not be an easy task.

Athletic Bilbao-Celta Vigo

Sunday, January 19 – 12:30 EST – San Mamés Stadium

Athletic Bilbao are set to host Celta Vigo on Sunday at the San Mamés Stadium. They outclassed Sestao River 4-0 in the Copa del Rey match last weekend. They have been defeated just once in their last 5 La Liga matches, winning one and drawing three times. A man to keep an eye on in the home team will be Inaki Williams. Celta Vigo, on the other hand, are sitting in the danger zone of the league table. They secured just 15 points this season and have failed to secure a win in their last 5 La Liga matches. Despite this, they did well to secure what was a 4-1 win over Merida AD in their Copa del Rey fixture. Iago Aspas will be the man to keep an eye on in the away side.
