Last night we correctly predicted our MLB Daily Double as the Mets and the Cardinals both won their respective matches. We look to replicate last night’s success with today’s MLB Daily Double. We are looking at two exciting matches today. Make sure to follow us on our social media outlets to stay up to date with all our predictions.

Chicago White Sox vs Oakland Athletics (August 10 – 19:10 EST)

Expected Pitchers: Reynaldo Lopez (6-9, ERA: 5.41) vs Tanner Roark (7-7, ERA: 4.14)

The White Sox have been in poor form, losing 5 of their last 5 home matches. Tonight, they’ll be looking to break this negative streak but will need a dominant performance over the Athletics to do so. The White Sox have been very poor at home against right-handed starters, losing their last 7 matches. The Athletics have won 7 in their last 10 overall matches. The Athletics have had tremendous success against the White Sox this season, winning all 6 matches against them. The total has gone OVER in 11 out of 14 meetings between the two teams.

Minnesota Twins vs Cleveland Indians (August 10 – 19:10 EST)

Expected Pitchers: Jake Odorizzi (12-5, ERA: 3.61) vs Adam Plutko (4-2, ERA: 4.55)

Both teams have been very good overall this season. They both have identical records of 70 wins and 46 losses. The Twins have been poor at home, winning only 1 in their last 5 but they will be looking to improve this statistic against the Indians. The Indians on the other hand, are looking good away from home. They managed to pick up 4 wins in their last 5 away matches. The two teams have gone head-to-head 11 times this season with the Twins taking away 5 wins. Minnesota will look towards their starting pitcher to put them back on track. They are 8-2 in Odorizzi’s last 10 home starts. Overall, they have a very dominant record of 15-4 in Odorizzi’s last 19 starts. With Odorizzi looking very good for the Twins, we feel they will have what it takes tonight to bear the Indians and crush their rather poor streak at home.
