It’s the start of a new week and we got another MLB Daily Double ready for you. We returned to our winning ways last night, as we correctly predicted the two featured matches. The Rockies and the Dodgers won their respective matches convincingly. We look to replicate our success tonight, as we take a look at another MLB Daily Double. As always, make sure to follow us on our social media outlets to stay up to date with all our predictions.
Cleveland Indians vs Boston Red Sox (August 12 – 19:10 EST)
Expected Pitchers: Zach Plesac (6-3, ERA: 3.25) vs Eduardo Rodriguez (13-5, ERA: 4.19)
The Indians have been red hot as of late, especially when playing at home. They have won 21 out of the last 30 matches at the Progressive Field. They will look to build on that success, when they host the Red Sox for the series opener on Monday night. On that note, they have been dominant when playing Boston at home, as they have won 13 of their last 18 matches. The Indians will look towards Zach Plesac to continue their positive form. On the other hand, the Red Sox have been lacking consistency. They came out with only 3 wins in their last 10 matches when playing away. Furthermore, they are 0-8 in their last 8 vs a team with a winning record. For that reason, we are looking at the Indians to start the series in the best of ways with a win.
OUR PICK: CLEVELAND INDIANS MONEYLINE
Los Angeles Angels vs Pittsburgh Pirates (August 12 – 22:07 EST)
Expected Pitchers: Jose Suarez (2-3, ERA: 6.22) vs Mitch Keller (0-1, ERA: 10.50)
The Angels and the Pirates open a three match series on Monday night at the Angel Stadium of Anaheim. The Pirates come into this match as one of the worst away teams in the league. Nothing seems to be going right for them, as they lost 23 out of their last 30 away matches. On the other hand, the Angels will look to add another win to their tally after capturing two consecutive wins against the Red Sox. They will look towards their starting pitcher Jose Suarez to do just that. We are expecting a win for the Angels tonight as they are facing a team who have nothing else to play for this season.
OUR PICK: LOS ANGELES ANGELS MONEYLINE
