The baseball actions continues, as we got another MLB Daily Double to start off the weekend. We had yet another successful night, as we correctly predicted our two featured picks. The month of August has been a profitable one with our MLB Daily Double predictions. Today, we feature another two exciting matches, as we look to build on our positive MLB record.

New York Yankees vs Cleveland Indians (August 16 – 19:05 EST)

Expected Pitchers: Masahiro Tanaka (8-6, ERA: 4.64) vs Aaron CivaleĀ (1-1, ERA: 1.00)

Two of the league’s most in-form teams face each other at the Yankee Stadium for game two of the series. The Yankees lost 19-5 last night against the Indians, and they will look to bounce back tonight. So far this season, New York has been the second best team in the American League when playing at home. They have won an outstanding 71% of their matches when playing at the Yankee Stadium. Furthermore, they have only lost 6 out of their last 30 home matches. On the other hand, the Indians have been strong as well. They are one of the better American League teams when playing away, winning 60% of their matches. They only managed to drop 9 out of their last 30 away matches. Overall, the Yankees will look to their starting pitcher Tanaka to earn them a much needed win after last night’s embarrassment. Tanaka is 10-1 in his last 11 starts, and that is why we think the Yankees should take this one.

Washington Nationals vs Milwaukee Brewers (August 16 – 19:05 EST)

Expected Pitchers: Patrick Corbin (9-5, ERA: 3.41) vs Adrian HouserĀ (5-5, ERA: 4.00)

The Nationals face the Brewers in the series opener at the Nationals Park on Friday evening. The home team is coming into this match after earning a full sweep against the Reds. They will look to build on that positive form, as they try to distance themselves from the Phillies and Mets in the east division. Furthermore, the Nationals are in good form having won 7 out of their last 10 matches. On the other hand, the Brewers have won 6 in the same span. Washington will look towards their starting pitcher to earn a much needed win at their home field. Corbin has been exceptional at home. He is 7-0 in his last seven home starts. On the other hand, the Brewers’ starting pitcher is 1-4 in his last five starts against teams that have won more than 50% of their games. We are confident Corbin will be building on his positive record tonight against the Brewers.
