The weekend is here and we got another MLB Daily Double to feature. We had yet another successful night, as we correctly predicted both of our featured picks. We are looking to cash in our third consecutive MLB Daily Double tonight in the hope of building on our outstanding record this month. As always, make sure to follow us on our social media accounts and share with us your views and opinions on our predictions.

Washington Nationals vs Milwaukee Brewers (August 17 – 19:05 EST)

Expected Pitchers: Anibal Sanchez (7-6, ERA: 3.75) vs Jordan Lyles (7-8, ERA: 4.62)

The Nationals were one of our featured picks in last night’s MLB Daily Double. They managed to edge the Brewers with a 2-1 scoreline. Tonight, the two teams face each other again for game 2 of the series. Washington has been one of the most in-form teams in the league. They have now won five consecutive matches, and will look to build on that streak with another win tonight against the Brewers. On the other hand, Milwaukee know that they will need a better performance if they want to beat the home team tonight. They are facing competition from the Cardinals and the Cubs in the central division, and therefore need to start winning games to keep them at bay. Unfortunately for the Brewers, they are 0-4 in their last four road games against a team with a winning record. We think that the Nationals will win yet another one against the Brewers tonight and continue their outstanding form.

Atlanta Braves vs Los Angeles Dodgers (August 17 – 19:20 EST)

Expected Pitchers: Mike Foltynewicz (4-5, ERA: 6.24) vs Hyun-Jin Ryu (12-2, ERA: 1.58)

The two top teams in the National League face each other on Saturday evening in game 2 of the series. Last night, the Dodgers won the opening match with a 8-3 scoreline. They will want to replicate last night’s success with another win at the SunTrust Park. Furthermore, Los Angeles has been in exceptional form, winning 21 of their last 30 matches. They will look towards their starting pitcher Hyun-Jin Ryu to continue that trend. He has been in exceptional form, winning 8 of his last 9 starts against teams that won over 50% of their games. To add to that, he is 14-3 in his last 17 starts on Saturday. On the other hand, Foltynewicz is 3-10 in his last 13 home starts. That is not an encouraging statistic for Atlanta and the home fans. It will not be an easy task for the Braves to capitalize against the Dodgers, and for that reason we think Los Angeles have what it takes to get their second consecutive win of the series.
