We will be featuring two winners every day in which we think are worth parlaying together. This system will allow us to maximize our chances of winning while receiving a good return for our investment. Chicago Cubs vs Oakland Athletics (August 5 – 20:05 EST)

Expected Pitchers: Kyle Hendricks (8-8, ERA: 3.07) vs Chris Bassitt (7-5, ERA: 3.84)

Chicago welcomes Oakland on Monday night at the Wrigley Field for the opening match of the series. The Cubs come into this match with full confidence as they swept the Brewers in three consecutive matches in the past few days. Likewise, the Athletics have proven to be a tough team to beat as they walked over the Cardinals in back to back games. This is the first time the two teams meet this season and we think it will be a close match. Both teams have had successful seasons up to now. However, we like the Cubs in this one as their home record is 2nd best in the National League and they have a 68% win percentage to prove for it. Furthermore, Chicago has picked up 4 wins in their last 5 matches at home against Oakland. Our money is on the Cubs to win the opening match of the series.

Minnesota Twins vs Atlanta Braves (August 5 – 20:10 EST)

Expected Pitchers: Jake Odorizzi (12-5, ERA: 3.73) vs Mike Soroka (10-2, ERA: 2.37)

Minnesota hosts Atlanta on Monday night at the Target Field in the first of a three match series. Two of the best teams in the MLB this season will look to continue their dominance. The Twins are coming off a convincing 3-0 sweep against the Royals, while the Braves split a four match series with the Reds. With that being said, we are expecting another tight match on the agenda tonight. Minnesota has been dominant at home with a 62% win percentage, while the Braves have been equally as dominant when playing away with a 61% win percentage. We want to back up the Twins in this one. They are the team with more confidence coming into this match due to their recent form. Furthermore, they are 5-0 in their last 5 during the opening match of a series. Our money is on the Twins to win the opening match tonight.
