Last night, our free pick ended in defeat as the Cardinals blew an early 2-0 lead against the Brewers. That match ended 5-2 in Milwaukee’s favor. On another note, we have an excellent offer for our readers who are interested in joining a reliable sportsbook with a welcome bonus. Los Angeles Angels vs Tampa Bay Rays

Sunday, September 15 – 16:07 EST – Angel Stadium of Anaheim

Expected Pitchers: Patrick Sandoval (0-3, ERA: 5.28) vs Ryan Yarbrough (11-3, ERA: 3.51)

The Angels host the Rays in the final match of the series between the two teams on Sunday afternoon. Tampa Bay has the advantage after winning both matches played. The opening match ended 11-4 and the second one 3-1. Furthermore, the Rays have been playing good baseball and are hoping to earn a spot in the playoffs through the wildcard standings. They currently sit in a position to do so, however they must keep fighting until the end. The Cleveland Indians are sitting right under them with only 2.5 games behind. Tampa Bay will hope to sweep the Angels today and will send Ryan Yarbrough to the mound. The 27 year old has been exceptional this season. Yarbrough has posted an 11-3 record with an ERA of 3.51. He is also 5-1 in his last six starts.

On the other hand, the Angels will be hoping to avoid another defeat at their home field. Nothing seems to be going right at the moment for Los Angeles, as they are riding on a six game losing streak. Their season technically ended a while ago, and their only motivation at the moment is to snap this negative streak. They will be fielding Patrick Sandoval on Sunday afternoon. The 22 year old pitcher has not been successful this season. He is 0-3, with an ERA of 5.28. It will take some doing if he wants to earn his first win on Sunday afternoon. Furthermore, the Angels have only won 2 of the 6 encounters against the Rays this season. We are backing the Tampa Bay Rays with confidence in this one!
