Seattle Seahawks vs Minnesota Vikings

Monday, December 2 – 20:15 EST – CenturyLink Field

After a loss to the Ravens on October 20th, the Seahawks have been mowing down the competition. The highlight of their four game win streak came against the 49ers two weeks ago. They secured a road win against a then 8-1 49ers team. The 49ers now find themselves at 10-2. The Seahawks are in striking distance of the division lead with a win tonight. The Seahawks are a mediocre 3-2 at home this year. If they want that top spot they need to improve their home form. Seattle’s versatile offence will have tough task ahead of them. Their ground game will be tested in this one as the Vikings have been very solid against the run this year. MVP candidate Russel Wilson has enjoyed a phenomenal year. His passer rating is second in the league at 112.1.

After losing to the Chiefs, the Vikings have earned victories over the Cowboys and Broncos. A win tonight would tie them with the 9-3 Green Bay Packers for the top spot in the NFC North. The Vikings passing game has not been elite this year however its steady production has been aided by the efficient run game of the Vikings. Quarterback Kirk Cousins shockingly has the number one passer rating in the league at 114.8. Cousins has two explosive weapons named Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen in his arsenal. Dalvin Cook has been their best offensive player this year aside from Cousins. Cook enters this game at 3rd in the league in rushing with 1017 yards. He has 11 TDs on the year which is 5th in the league.
