Saturday, January 18 – 12:00 EST – Mapei Stadium – Città del Tricolore
Sassuolo are set to welcome Torino to the Mapei Stadium on Saturday. The home side will be looking to bounce back after suffering a 3-0 loss at the hands of Udinese in their last match. Sassuolo have lost their last three consecutive matches. They currently sit in 15th place and will be looking to climb their way up the standings and away from the danger zone. Torino, on the hand, are looking to make it three consecutive Serie A wins on Saturday. They defeated Roma (2-0) and Bologna (1-0) in their last two fixtures. The man to keep an eye out for in this one will be Andrea Belotti. The Italian forward managed to find the back of the net twice in their win over Roma. Torino have lost just once in their last 5 Serie A matches.
OUR PICK: TORINO DRAW NO BET
Sunday, January 19 – 9:00 EST – Stadio Comunale Via del Mare
Lecce are set to welcome second place Inter to their Stadio Comunale Via del Mare on Sunday. The two teams have entirely different ambitions in the second half of the season. Lecce are desperate to secure the Serie A survival, while Inter are eyeing their first Scudetto since 2010. Inter dropped two points in a 1-1 draw with Atalanta at the weekend. Antonio Conte is likely to field the best possible side against Lecce. A man to watch in the away team will be Romelu Lukaku, who has netted 14 goals in the Serie A so far this season. Lecce do not seem to be on top of their game ahead of the visit of Inter. They have lost four consecutive matches coming into this one. Lecce experienced all sorts of problems at the back the last time they faced Inter, as they lost 4-0.
OUR PICK: INTER -1.5 ASIAN HANDICAP
Monday, January 20 – 14:45 EST – Stadio Atleti Azzurri d’Italia
After rolling over Milan (5-0) and Parma (5-0) in the previous two league fixtures, Atalanta played out a 1-1 draw with Inter. Muriel failed to convert a penalty in the dying minutes of the match against Inter in what could have been a precious win for Atalanta. Atalanta’s current form is amazing, and we predict that they are going to extend their winning run at home to four games. A man to keep an eye on in the home team will be Slovenian international Josip Ilicic, who found the back of the net twice in their 5-0 win over Parma. SPAL, on the other hand, recorded only one win in the last twelve league fixtures. As a result of their shortcomings, they are in last place in the Serie A standings. Leonardo Semplici’s troops have been struggling in front of goal of late, failing to find the back of the net in any of their last 3 Serie A matches.
